President Spencer appoints Sen. Hawley as interim SoHHS

James S. Brady Press Briefing Room, Washington D.C. — Today at a briefing from the commander-in-chief himself, President Patrick Spencer announced that Secretary Lamar Alexander would be departing the administration to focus on his health. This comes as a surprise due to Secretary Alexander being reconfirmed by the Senate only a mere 3 months ago.

“I had no quarrel with Mr. Alexander,” said President Spencer at the conference. “He was probably my most favorite health Secretary and closest healthcare allies. He left on better terms than my previous Secretaries. My administration wishes him the best of luck with his fight to stay alive.”

Andrew Lamar Alexander Jr., commonly known as Lamar Alexander, is a former Tennessee Governor and Education Secretary under the senior bush’s administration. He later joined the senate and in 2015 became the chairman of the HELP committee. He has since served as a close ally of President Spencer and has been a leading advisor to him on healthcare since the president's inauguration.

Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri has been appointed as Mr. Alexander’s replacement, confirmed by a White House letter.

Peace in Ukraine, at last

Kiev, Ukraine - Today, the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to finally end the conflict in Crimea and in the Donetsk and Dombass regions with the Treaty of Kiev.

Russia has agreed to allow Ukraine to keep control over Donetsk and Dombass in exchange for Ukraine to recognize Russia control over Crimea.

Many people are skeptical of this new peace, theorizing that Russia will continue to intervene within the eastern Ukrainian area. And with this, many Russophilia parties have began to campaign for the next Ukrainian election.

Ukraine has asked the United States to send in peace keeping forces to pacify the eastern region and help enforce the treaty.

North Virginia “declares” itself as its own state

Arlington, VA - Today, thousands of North Virginians rally in Arlington declaring that they will become its own state via any means necessary in response to the President’s recent Executive Order and the ‘NOVA Act’ failing Congress.

When the ‘NOVA Act’ first failed Congress, thousands of people rallied in Richmond calling for North Virginia to become its own state or autonomous supercounty in Virginia due to its economic and cultural importance form the rest of Virginia.

The Virginia state legislature passed the ‘Autonomous North Act’ which made North Virginia an autonomous supercounty with state separatist and state Senator Barbara Favola becoming the sub-Governor of the area.

The President, however, called for the Army to be sent to declare “martial law” in the region. The region was already under an “state of emergency” put into place by Governor Northam.

Sub-Governor Favola has declared the state separation of Northern Virginia. Meaning that Virginians state legislators of that region won’t be attending and thus lowering the quorum needed. They all signed an state constitution and are petitioning for the President to remove martial law. Many even calling for his impeachment of such usage of the military to exercise an executive order on Americans.

The North Virginia Community Defense Forces has been deployed to defend theirselves against an Army occupation and due to how entranced they are, many speculate that it would be impossible to get through.
